Key Personnel

Tim Colley AIA, LEED AP SCUP twenty years of experience working with individuals, small and large businesses, local and state governments, and universities on projects of all types, scales and complexity.  Tim graduated from Virginia Tech with undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture with a concentration in sustainable and energy efficient design.  Tim served on the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Blue Ridge Board of Directors in various capacities from 2001-2013, AIA Virginia (VSAIA) Board of Directors from 2011-2014, the VSAIA Government Advocacy Committee from 2011-Present, and the VSAIA Audit Committee from 2011-Present .  Tim is registered to practice architecture in Virginia and North Carolina. 

Barry Collier, AIA, LEED AP brings over ten years of architectural experience to the team.  Barry has experience with many building types and scales.  Barry received his degree in architecture from Virginia Tech while juggling deployments to the Middle East as a member of the Virginia Army National Guard.  Barry is a licensed architect in the state of Virginia. 

Jeffrey Weiseman, Assoc. AIA brings over fifteen years of architectural practice to the table.  Jeffrey also operated his own residential design firm for a number of years before joining Colley Architects.  Jeffrey is a dual graduate of Virginia Tech, obtaining a master’s degree in architecture. Jeffrey is currently completing the Architect Registration Exams (ARE) to become a licensed Architect. 

Colley Architects also employs design interns throughout the year to assist with production while providing valuable professional experience to students. This also allows our firm to maintain a direct connection to current architectural education practices.
