As part of a plan to renovate most of the main level of Newman Library at Virginia Tech, Colley Architects designed improvements to the main entrance lobby. Porcelain tile floors replaced the previous VCT, a new informational multimedia bulkhead was introduced with six large monitors, LED lighting replaced the old fluorescents, and a large media screen wall was built. The new work modernizes the lobby with a forward thinking “digital” introduction to the changing library model at Virginia Tech.
