VIVA Market

VIVA Market is a unique venue for Virginia Tech Dining. An upscale grab-n-go market that has a wide range of offerings with an emphasis on fresh, local, and quick selections. Offerings include gourmet coffee, sandwiches, salads, soups, and fresh produce. The fully renovated space includes a small kitchen. It is located in the heart of the academic area which serves on-the-go students and faculty alike.

The renovation considered after hours security, staff sightlines, and customer circulation. By following the floor pattern patrons are directed through the various offerings, into a double height volume defined by vaulted beams, and then to the checkout. After checking out, customers pass through the custom designed gate and archway into the neighboring lounge where they may either take a moment to enjoy their meal or rush off to the next class with coffee in hand.
